Vista drivers would be your best bet as windows 7 is more Vista then it is XP. I think I love you.

Is the driver incomplete? Is this the best solution for boards or only for boards?

So I fixed that and rebooted. I have an abit I-N37H mobo with realtek integrated sound and i have the same issue where only the front panel is recognized and no sound comes out of it. Similar help and support threads. Is it forced to work on stereo-only mode?
